Azalea Japonica Purple

The Purple Azalea Japonicas are bold, stylish and trendy looking evergreen deciduous shrubs. They will add great character to any garden with the purple colour in Spring and Summer bringing a great richness in appearance. Planting the Azalea in a garden borders or bed is recommended as it will give it the perfect position to thrive and illuminate the garden.
Appreciating moist, well-drained soil, this shrub will also require a frequent water in the warmer months of the year. Spring and Summer is when the Azalea forms its purple flowers, so water in that period to keep them looking great. Partial shade is ideal with shelter also being good for it. Keeping it out of direct sunlight is key as the Azalea will cope better without it.
